Koopmans, Tjalling Charles
(1910-1975) Купманс, Тьяллинг Чарлз
Экономист, родился в Голландии. Окончил университет в Утрехте. Был профессором в Нидерландской школе экономики, экспертом в финансовом отделе Лиги Наций, исследователем в Принстонском университете [Princeton University], экономистом и статистиком в коммерческих фирмах США; в 1944-75 профессор Чикагского [Chicago, University of] и Йельского университетов [Yale University]. Лауреат Нобелевской премии 1975 по экономике за вклад в развитие теории оптимального распределения ресурсов [optimal distribution of resources]
